Streets

William Street was working as a tinman by 1851. He had moved to a property on Long Street by 1863. By 1897 son Robert Street was listed in trade directories as a Cycle agent and in 1902 was also an ironmonger, presumably having taken over from his father.

From around 1914 he was a motor engineer as well as ironmonger and in 1923 a motor engineer & cycle agent, having dropped the ironmongery side of trade.

The property was situated at 15 Long Street and in 1931 had the phone number 16.
