1765: Act for rebuilding the church

pre 1777: Church prior to the rebuilding

c.1820: following the rebuild.

On the wall at the east side there is a collection of the most marvellous graffiti - not the modern painted type but painstakingly engraved into the stone. Some examples are shown below.

North Ambulatory and two figures which were brought in from the churchyard in 1932 hence the weathered condition of them both. They are thought to represent wool staplers or sheepmasters.
