When I found the children of Henry & Martha in the Muller Orphanage, Bristol I was particularly sad. Henry died fairly young, so what became of Ellen, did she too die young, or did she remarry and was unwilling to take the responsibility for her step children. Her own son Percy was in the Tetbury Union Workhouse in 1901 so I suspect she died but I have not found any evidence for this yet. Along with Percy there are a couple of younger children which may belong to her. Why also were the step children in a Bristol home and her own flesh and blood in Tetbury?.
