Hampton Street

 

In the late C16 there were a few houses on the road which became known as Hampton Street. By 1860 there were 17 cottages, 1 house, 1 inn, 1 barnyard, 1 house, brewery & malthouse which were owned by
Messers Broom, Clark, Cook, Goodwyn, Goodwyn & Walker, White.
