G & L Tuck

 

According to various trade directories Lewis Tuck was trading on Church Street by 1863 as a grocer. Later directories list him as an earthenware dealer, glass & china dealer, and trading as G & L Tuck the shop by the 1900s was a drapers, tailor and outfitter and a glass & china dealer.

By 1906 George Charles Tuck and sister Jane Lois were in trouble and declared bankrupt.
