    Q/PC/2/53/C/70. 30 January 1834. Offender: William Cleaver alias Bowman, Richard Bunting alias Barnfield and Jeremiah Cox, labourers of Tetbury. Crime: Stealing part of a dead fence from a rick barton in Tetbury, the property of Robert Tanner, farmer. Other details: W M Paul, JP at Highgrove, Tetbury. Fined £2 and 2/- costs each, or hard labour for two calendar months in Horsley House of Correction. Crime committed 30 January 1834.

    BOWMAN, WM als CLEAVER 29 March 1836 of TETBURY, Labourer age 18; 5’2.5” tall, brown hair, grey eyes, round visage with fresh complexion; several moles on left cheek, mole on right breast. Charged on the oath of Ann Washbourn & others that on the morning of the 31 March at Tetbury feloniously stolen a lead spout affixed to the dwelling of the said Ann Washbourn, her property. Found guilty 31 March 1836; Sentenced to 6 months [see penitentiary register]. 3/4/1836 Removed. Not read or write; orderly behavior.
